The Lofoten archipelago is a photographer’s dream
Join this 5 days/4nights Arctic adventure in Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway. Highlights of the trip include winter landscapes, jagged mountains, grand vistas, colorful fjords and the chance of experiencing the greatest show on earth, the Aurora Borealis,No winter tour to Lofoten would be complete without experiencing and bringing home images of this magnificent and breathtaking natural phenomenon. A place where the mountains can glow pink from sunrise to sunset, or where dark clouds herald the arrival of a fierce storm. The villages, with their scenic Rorbu cabins precariously placed on rocky outcrops, the sea lapping at their feet.
This is a world class location, and the likes of National Geographic, Lonely Planet and The Huffington Post and have listed this very village as one of the most scenic villages on earth.
We will focus on, and stay in, the absolute best spots for landscape photography.
Stunning Arctic landscape, amazing locations such as Reine, Olstind mountain, Haukland, Skagsanden and Utakleiv beaches
Small group size (max 8 participants)
High probability of shooting the Aurora Borealis above immense mountains and wonderful beaches
Magical low light throughout the day, enabling us to shoot for over 6 hours (weather permitting), in addition to night photography
Professional photo guidance by an experienced, award-winning landscape photographer
Since the Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon, we can’t guarantee that it can be seen during the week. However, the Lofoten landscape in itself is very photogenic. We can always offer you a stunning program.
Reine looks amazing in any weather conditions, but snow can add a lot to the winter atmosphere, and make everything even more magical.
